How long is a session?

A session typically lasts 45 to 50 minutes. 

 

Does Dr. Granata prescribe medication?

Dr. Granata does not prescribe medication. If medication is recommended, Dr. Granata will work closely with your primary care physician or your psychiatrist to help determine which medication would be most beneficial to you. 

 

Does Dr. Granata accept my insurance?

Dr. Granata accepts most insurances. Please check here to see if your insurance is accepted.

 

If the appointment is for my child, do I bring the child to the first appointment?

The first session is a parent only meeting so that a complete history can be taken and an initial treatment plan can be provided.

What will the first meeting be like?

Before your first meeting, please fill out our new-patient forms. During your appointment, Dr. Granata will begin by asking for a statement of your presenting concern and then take a full history followed by an initial treatment plan and recommendations.
